Java Production Support
Job Description
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering
2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Java development
Proficiency in Java, J2EE and related frameworks
Experience in Redis, ElasticSearch
Strong knowledge on application server (Tomcat, Weblogic)
Ability to expose and consume RESTful API and SOAP APIs.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and tuning for performance.
Demonstrate experience in leading, mentoring and providing technical guidance to the team.
Exposure to Linux Shell or Perl scripting.
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Git, SVN, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD, SonarQube, splunk)
Extensive experience with microservices architecture and design principles
Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Agile, SAFe)
Additionally,
Experience with developing application on Front end technology using Vue or Angular
Knowledge of telecommunications domain including network architecture and protocols
Coding with AI Assistance tools (GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer, Watsonx).
Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (Rancher, Docker)
Ability to monitor and troubleshoot applications using tools like VisualVM, Splunk, AppDynamics, BigPanda,
Essential Skills: Java/J2EE, JAXRS, Tomcat, Rest, SOAP, SQL, Shell Scripting Git, Maven
