Job Description

We are hiring a Program Manager to run complex and cross functional supply chain project. This role is a part of supply chain speed team at Amazon India Operations. The incumbent will drive and monitor network initiatives of speed efficiency for Amazon Shipping Network. This would mean working with Program, Ops, Finance and Business teams to benchmark, identify areas of opportunity, design solution in collaboration with stakeholders ,create proposals for leadership review & approval, and pilot/implement solutions for speed enhancement. These projects will involve building in-depth understanding of network configurations and MM and LM operations, designing simple solutions to enhance lane/route specific speed and proposing and driving technology solutions, both at least possible cost, and launching exciting new supply chain models.

Key job responsibilities
The incumbent will own the following -
1) They will be responsible for benchmarking with ICs to identify bottlenecks/slow lanes regularly and the area where opportunity exists across those lanes to reduce SLA with in-depth data analysis
2) They will be responsible to collaborate with ITE, Network design and MM/LM Ops integrations team to identify and propose the right solution for feasibility assessment
3) They will be responsible for running proof of concepts and concluding go/no-go decisions on various initiatives via cost benefit analysis
4) Once a go decision is made, the program manager will work to evolve a plan and timeline for execution
4) The program manager will develop a roadmap and metrics to measure progress of the initiatives they own. They will also own writing reports/documents/program updates that detail the progress to leadership on a frequent basis
5) They will liaise across functions to drive their project and help clear issues and bottlenecks.
6) They will work with technology teams to scope out and drive any tech changes that are needed
Above all, we expect program managers to be single threaded owners for their initiatives. Program Managers will be measured on the impact of their project. Depending on the project, clear financial or other impact goals will be set forth and it will be the program manager's responsibility to ensure they drive the program towards achieving those goals.- Bachelor's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources or related field
