Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to serve as a technical leader in our new Bangalore organization, architecting the next generation of AI-powered seller support systems. As a founding senior engineer, you will shape the technical direction of our platform while mentoring teams and establishing engineering excellence.

You will drive the technical architecture of our intelligent support platform, designing and implementing scalable solutions to enhance our customer experience. Your work will directly impact Amazon's ability to transform its seller support experience, consolidating various tools into a unified, AI-powered platform serving large seller base globally.

This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the technical foundation of a new organization while solving complex problems at Amazon scale. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with leadership abilities and a passion for mentoring engineers.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead the technical architecture for major components of our AI platform, including LLM integration, intelligent routing systems, and automated response generation
• Design scalable and resilient distributed systems that can handle Amazon's global seller support volume
• Drive technical decisions across multiple teams, ensuring system cohesion and engineering excellence
• Establish architectural patterns and best practices for AI/ML system implementation
• Create technical roadmaps for complex multi-quarter initiatives
• Mentor SDEs and SDMs, raising the technical bar for the organization
• Partner with senior leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Lead design reviews and architecture discussions across teams- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 8+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
