Job Description

Drive projects and provide technical leadership to inspire team to innovate, design, and implement advanced capabilities for Google Distributed Cloud Edge (GDCE) Cluster team - hire and scale the individual teams.
Partner and collaborate with related engineering teams, product and program management team to deliver high quality solutions in a timely manner.
Work with partner teams and product managers in developing a longterm product charter and technology roadmap.
Drive operational and project execution and management excellence.
Develop and grow talent (including TLs and managers) through hiring, mentoring, and coaching.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration frameworks.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
Experience in developing distributed , large-scale platforms and exposure to mobility technologies.
Experience with Cloud platforms ( Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloud Computing Platform, etc.) and Large Language Models (LLM) serving infrastructure.
Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts with the understanding of complex inter-dependencies of a large-scale infrastructure.
