Job Description

Drive strategy, features and roadmaps for Docs AI, ensuring high standards of technical excellence and quality, owning end-to-end features including ML modeling, infrastructure, client and front-end.
Identify key areas for investment and build execution paths to bring them to market, while leading technical decisions and resolving trade-offs within the team.
Provide coaching and feedback to team members to foster their growth, create strategies for managing performance and cultivate a positive team environment.
Build relationships with peers across teams (Workspace and Google Deepmind) to develop joint roadmaps, manage dependencies and influence shared objectives.
Enable senior executives to make informed organizational prioritization decisions by outlining trade-offs and navigating engaging demands for infrastructure work.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in system architecture, software engineering or AI/ML development.
1 year of experience in developing large-scale infrastructure and distributed systems.
Experience in project management, cross-functional collaboration and influencing stakeholders.
Experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning and related frameworks.

Preferred qualifications:

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
Experience in working with Machine Learning (ML)/Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) infrastructure.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in system architecture, software engineering or AI/ML development.
1 year of experience in developing large-scale infrastructure and distributed systems.
Experience in project management, cross-functional collaboration and influencing stakeholders.
Experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning and related frameworks.
