Job Description

Lead advance technology powering YouTube Shopping product and features being built from Bengaluru.
Drive the technical strategy for YouTube Shopping, defining how the technology should evolve to meet product needs, leverage new technologies, and support developer innovation and velocity.
Work on technical problems in diverse domains, ranging from AI and ML, offer search ranking and quality, payments, browsers, trust and safety, infrastructure, feature development, and developer experience.
Define a technical roadmap, collaborating with managers, PMs, and TPMs to lay out the system architecture and prioritize work items.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
7 years of professional software development experience or 5 years with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a technical related field.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
7 years of professional software development experience or 5 years with an advanced degree.
