Job Description

Lead projects building critical trust protections for Google Video and Image, used globally, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop safety solutions.
Perform data analyses to identify and address product vulnerabilities, continuously improving systems against evolving abuse. Embrace LLMs to enhance abuse and misinformation fighting ability.
Review into trust issues specific to images, videos and creator content surfaces, providing insights and data-driven analysis to inform decision-making for the product.
Use technical judgement to drive project delivery, continuously refine our enforcement workflows, leveraging automation including LLMs and your problem-solving skills to streamline processes and maximize efficiency
Be prepared to review and assess content that may be controversial, offensive, or sensitive, demonstrating resilience and sound judgment. You might need to perform on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis including weekends as needed.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
2 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Preferred qualifications:

3 years of experience in abuse analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
Experience using statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
Experience analyzing machine learning (ML) models performance or working on LLMs.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly communicate technical concepts with multiple cross-regional and cross-functional stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
2 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

As a Trust and Safety, Engineering analyst you will be the driving initiatives that protects Google Video, Image and User generated content experiences from misinformation, abuse, and harmful content.
