Institutional Securities_ Technology

Institutional Securities Technology (IST) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions. IST’s ‘clients’ include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Prime Brokerage and Global Capital Markets.

ALGO (Algorithmic Trading, Client Connectivity & Market Data)

Algorithmic Trading Client Connectivity and Market Data (ALGO) is responsible for the infrastructure and application layers, enabling the Firm's Sales & Trading platforms across Equity, FX and Rates with advanced execution and quoting automation, connectivity and messaging capabilities. Designs, develops, and deploys the firm’s market leading ultra-low latency e-trading platform Enables the Firm's Sales & Trading platforms across Equity, Fixed Income, FX, and Commodities via advanced execution, connectivity, analytics, and messaging capabilities, as well as comprehensive trading risk systems and application infrastructure

This is Director position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you’ll do in the role:

Leading FPGA design teams on advanced, high frequency trading (HFT) projects.
Architecting and implementing complex FPGA solutions using Verilog, Simulink, and tools from Xilinx, Intel, and Microsemi.
Verifying designs with SystemVerilog/UVM, and industry-standard tools like QuestaSim.
Ensuring high-quality documentation and configuration management practices.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. They should thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent problem-solving abilities, and have a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Strong proficiency HDL (VHDL/Verilog), SystemVerilog/UVM, and industry-standard tools.
Proven experience leading FPGA development projects.
Expertise in FPGA Xilinx/Altera architectures, verification, and software integration.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with TCP/IP, Linux, Github, Python, C++, Agile process and wireshark tool chains and methodologies.
