UI Developer (React) - Associate - Software Engineering

Profile Description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as Test automation engineer/Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to work in an Agile development team.

InstitutionalSecurities_Technology

Institutional Securities Technology (IST) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions. IST’s ‘clients’ include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Prime Brokerage and Global Capital Markets.

PWM Asia Tech

Private Wealth Management Asia Technology (PWM Asia Tech) is responsible for providing front to back technology services to businesses that manage the Firm's high-net-worth clients in Asia and Australia, managing the technology platform that covers customer on-boarding, order management, on-going client service and reporting.

Software Engineering

This is Associate position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

The candidate is expected to develop & Maintain software solutions.
The candidate will work on a global team.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Skills Required

JavaScript/TypeScript: Proficiency in JavaScript and optionally TypeScript
React: Strong understanding of React library, including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.
HTML/CSS: Knowledge of HTML and CSS for structuring and styling the UI.
Testing: Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest
Build Tools: Understanding of build tools like Webpack
RESTful APIs: Ability to integrate with RESTful APIs for Fetching and submitting the data
Responsive Design: Skills in creating responsive and adaptive UI designs
Pub/Sub: Experience in integrating with Pub/Sub messaging systems like CPS (Optional)
Full Stack Experience: Ability to contribute on the backend service layer in addition to the UI development (Optional).
