Job Description

This is a full-time opportunity managing processes at the largest business software company in the world, Oracle Corporation. As the Global Functional Expert for Standalone Selling Price, you will support the Global Revenue Recognition Organization with processes, functional knowledge and system expertise concerning design and implementation of the end-to-end processes that impact SSP and Oracle’s APEX Revenue Management modules across all regions and globally.

The SSP Analyst role calls for a highly skilled individual to work as both an individual contributor, and as a collaborative team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in areas of specialization. The candidate must possess strong analytical and communication skills in partnering with other internal groups. The candidate should have a good sense of global and regional finance practices, be able to prepare and deliver quality presentations, submit regular status updates, make recommendations, and raise issues to management.

This role has global responsibilities and will act collaborate with various groups for the processing of the SSP study analysis processes. This role will prepare the SSP studies, initiate system enhancement requests for SSP studies, provide production support and participate in large-scale project initiatives as part of the team that supports Oracle Finance business units and Oracle IT internal software implementations. This role will need to reach breakthroughs/deliverables and drive to complete SSP studies by the targeted deadlines.

This role will be a key contributor to generating SSP data and running the SSP analysis process quarterly based on the published SSP study plan. This role will need to meet project turning points/ deliverables and drive projects to completion by targeted deadlines with cross-functional teams. Key functions include: proactively identifying SSP process issues, and updating procedure documentation. The candidate with need the ability to perform work independently without direct oversight, and collaborate with management, and team members.
