Seeking highly skilled and experienced Solution Engineer with over 10 years of experience in Oracle DB (19c or above), Vector DB, Oracle Autonomous DB and Open source DBs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale cloud & data solutions, demonstrating strong expertise in data management.

Technical Requirements & Essential Skills:

Hands-on experience with Oracle DBs 19c, 21c, 23ai, Oracle Autonomous DB
Hands-on experience with cloud DB technologies, cloud deployments and migrations to cloud DBs
Hands-on experience with database performance tuning or large production DBs
Expertise in core database / data warehouse technologies
Good knowledge of advance database features and options (MAA, RAC, DR)
Application database design and architecting
Hands-on experience with SQL and PLSQL
Prior experience in a technical database consulting role
Add-on skills desired:
- Having competitive knowledge on cloud products and offerings
- Good knowledge on AI / ML, Vector Search capabilities of DB
- Having good knowledge on non-oracle databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, DB2, would be an added advantage
- Good understanding of the client-server deployment configuration of different tools or in-house applications.

Inter-personal Abilities:

Good English communication skills, both oral and written! You are able to not only understand complex technologies but also to explain to others in clear and simple terms. You can articulate key messages very clearly.
Proactive approach to the job working with virtual teams and interacting with people across the organization
Excellent presentation skills with a creative approach
Openness to work with different languages regions & cultures (you will support most of the countries in Asia Pacific)
Results orientation, you won’t be satisfied until the job is done with the right quality!
Ability to work in (virtual) teams. To get a specific job done often requires working together with many colleagues spread out in different countries
Self-motivated , quickly adapting to change, you have the natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges
