Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.Communications Global Business Unit (CGIU) in Oracle is the leading worldwide provider of billing and Revenue Management solutions for the global communications and media markets. Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management is a single-product approach to address all of today's communications and media providers' services and business models. Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management helps service providers accelerate the launch of innovative new services, enrich global customer relationships, and reduce crippling costs associated with traditional approaches to billing. Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management is the only application that provides a product- based solution for revenue management.It is built to industry standards on a highly available, real-time platform, and it’s functionally rich enough to support all communications and media service provider business processes across all lines of business.The Business Platform team in the Communications Global Business Unit (CGIU) is responsible for the design and development of the entire Business Logic for this product.The candidate is expected to write excellent quality C / C++ / code on the UNIX platform. He/She must have hands on experience in C/C++, excellent analytical/problem-solving skills, knowledge of data- structures and object-oriented design. Candidate should be able to work with little or no guidance from architects and managers. Candidate must have expert knowledge in UNIX programming environments. Good communication skills - both written and verbal. Understanding of Database and performance tuning knowledge is a plus.Desired Skills: Preferably from a telecom domain and product development background.Architect and design new features and systems for our customers.Work across teams to engineer the best system (both for operations and for customers) regardless of org boundaries or ownership.Debug, maintain and improve existing systems, with a focus especially for reducing operational burden and on performance.Be a generalist, able to debug issues across a wide breadth of our stack.Scale our systems by building tooling and automation.Work with partner teams outside our org and external to Oracle.6+ years’ experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systemsHistory of working in large codebases in C/C++, Java and experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, etc.Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership and drive.Broad understanding of cloud services such as Kubernetes, Docker, Kata and CalicoPast experience on legacy Cloud Computing platforms is preferred.Current working knowledge of OCI, Openstack, AWS, GCP or Azure platforms is a bonus.Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
