Job Description

Develop, review and update key documentation within the EMS
Undertake aspect and impact assessments
Determine environmental legislation and other compliance requirements and assessing its applicability to the business, ensure compliance
Develop operational manuals specifying compliance requirements
Monitor performance (qualitative and quantitative) against compliance requirements, and sustainability objectives and targets
Organize regular review meetings according to the Group EMS Monitoring process including the timely delivery of minutes of these calls
Develop, review, update and deliver EMS related training materials
Organize the local internal and external audit process in compliance with the Group audit framework
Conduct internal audits for ‘other’ countries/regions to ensure independence and objectivity of the internal audit programme
Manage the non-conformance register for the assigned country
Deliver the Management Review in collaboration with the local EMS Lead for discussion and approval by the local Sustainability Board.

Primary Skills

Experience minimum 2 years in EHS role
ISO 140001 maintaining or implementing experience is must
Internal or lead auditor qualification and experience in ISO14001, 50001 and or 45001
Shall be client focused, with excellent stakeholder management skills
Ability to work with limited direct supervision
Experience of maintaining management systems outside of India would be advantageous

Secondary Skills

Additional experience and/or qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety to ISO45001 and Energy Management Systems to ISO50001 would be advantageous
Excellent communication skills
Experience in Overseas / International exposure
