Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of overall experience, with at least 2 years of experience in an architecture-focused role. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure solutions, with a deep understanding of Banking and Financial Services. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, and DevOps practices will be key to success in this role. Candidates with a consulting background will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex solutions for Banking and Financial Services applications, focusing on high availability, scalability, and security.

• Cloud Architecture: Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP to design and implement cloud-native solutions, including the integration of cloud services and containerized applications.

• API Strategy & Integration: Develop strategies for API integrations, leveraging API Gateway solutions for secure and efficient communication across services. Design RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with internal and external services.

• Containerization & DevOps: Design solutions that leverage containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and DevOps best practices to streamline deployment pipelines and improve system performance and scalability.

• Enterprise Architecture: Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure that solutions align with the broader IT and business architecture, maintaining consistency with TOGAF principles and ensuring strategic alignment.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to ensure the successful design and delivery of solutions that meet business requirements.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure all solutions comply with relevant banking and financial services regulations, including security protocols and data privacy.

• Mentorship & Leadership: Provide technical leadership to development teams, guiding them in best practices for architecture, design, and implementation. Share knowledge on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Skills & Qualifications:

• BE/BTech. MBA/MTech/PGDM is a plus.

• Experience:

o 8-12 years of overall experience in IT, with at least 2 years of experience as a Solutions Architect.

o Strong background in the Banking and Financial Services industry with a deep understanding of its challenges, regulations, and best practices.

• Technical Skills:

o Proven experience in designing cloud-native applications and services on platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

o Expertise in Containerization technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker.

o Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).

o Knowledge of API design and integration, with experience in using API Gateways.

o Hands-on experience with integration patterns, including Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and microservices-based architectures.

o Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.

• Architectural Frameworks:

o Experience with TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) and understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles.

• Banking & Financial Services Expertise:

o In-depth knowledge of Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, and related technologies, including mobile apps development.

o Familiarity with the security and regulatory requirements in the banking industry (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, PCI-DSS).

• Soft Skills:

o Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior business leaders, developers, and stakeholders effectively.

o Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and think critically about architecture solutions.

o Ability to mentor and guide junior developers and architects.

• Certifications (optional but preferred):

o Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

o TOGAF or other architecture-related certifications.
