For more than 350 years and across the world we have passionately pursued our curiosity to find novel and vibrant ways of enhancing the lives of others.The RoleThe role is positioned in the Electronics Innovation Sourcing Team, with a strong focus on the semiconductor solutions business. The responsibilities include development of local sourcing, set-up for procurement strategies, contracting, business continuity planning, and supplier management. He/she is also expected to interface with all stakeholders to understand challenges and work on solutions to support the fast-growing business in Semiconductor Industry.Key to success is a close collaboration with stakeholders and sourcing teams to identify materials with the highest business impact for sourcing in India, and to identify suppliers with the right capabilities and development potential towards the tight quality requirements in semiconductor industry.The position is located at our offices in Mumbai, India.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Enhance sourcing capabilities in India for Electronics.Set-up India sourcing strategies, figuring out potential partners, develop suppliers, and demonstrate successful business cases especially in Semiconductor areas.Coordinate in supplier/material selections, due diligence, and qualifications with external and internal stakeholders. Develop and maintain strong and successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Implement supplier management/evaluation/assessment.Collaboration and alignment with the other sourcing team members in other countries.Recommended Education/Work Experience:Bachelor’s Degree or above.5+ years relevant working experienceHaving good knowledge in semiconductor, display or chemical industries.Experienced in strategic sourcing, commercial negotiation, cost analysis, and supplier management.Good communication within internal and external organizations for multi-national collaboration.Fluent English.Other Requirements:Education in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Science and Technology is a plus. Team player and familiar with global collaboration. Always looking to share and advance best practices.Resilience in dealing with unexpected issues and urgent matters. High degree of self-reliance required in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.Good reporting and presentation skills. Strong in numeric analysis.Cost sensitive and strategic.Ability to travel and flexible working. Experience of working in a global environment
