Market Data Team - Analyst

Profile Description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as a [Analyst - Market Data Team] to [include coverage and analysis of information across all asset classes and business activities of the Firm. Responsibilities of the Middle Office team include run, maintain and improve data flow processes, development of tools, definition of metrics, automation and representation of information to management. In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyze and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives.

What you’ll do in the role:

Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform data quality checks for trades, risk measures and Market data.
• Observe data issue patterns, collaborate with data providers for timely resolution.
• Ensure accurate & timely production of market risk metrics daily.
• Collaborate with Risk managers and improve the effectiveness of controls and processes.
• Collaborate with technology in implementing Data related strategic programs
• Contribute to automations of manual processes, where possible.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Qualifications/ Skills required :
• Minimum of 0-2 years of Market Risk middle office experience.
• Knowledge of Market Risk and financial products is preferred
• Control mindset with attention to details.
• Advanced Excel, VBA programming & SQL. Knowledge of Python will be an added advantage.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree, Engineering or Finance is a plus
