We’re seeking someone to join our team as (Java Developer), the individual will work closely with the Investment Management business to solve operational problems and design strategic solutions.

Investment_Management

In the Investment Management division, we deliver active investment strategies across public and private markets and custom solutions to institutional and individual investors.

IMIT App Dev

IMIT provides industry-leading strategies and solutions to enable business growth and deliver best in class functions to Morgan Stanley’s Investment Management business.

Software Engineering

This is Associate position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you’ll do in the role:

1.Designing and developing modern and modular web applications using modern coding and testing standards.
2.Participating in our agile ceremonies and actively driving towards the team’s goals.
3.Working independently using modern software development practices.
4.Working collaboratively with a global team of technologists.
5.Leading with ideas and innovation.
6.Managing communication and partnering with stake holders (MSIM Business teams) to design solutions.

What you’ll bring to the role:

At least 4 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
Experience developing enterprise JAVA applications.
Experience in building enterprise grade micro services.
Experience working with secured web applications.
Experience working with Scalable and extendable web applications.
Experience writing unit, component and integration tests.
Experience working with relational or NoSql database.
Strong understanding of financial markets and various financial instruments with a focus on Equities.
Strong computer science fundamentals.
Strong Problem solving skills.
Self-driven and motivated team player.
Decent understanding of UI technologies from Integration with BE perspective.
Good understanding of python as a scripting tool
