Job Description
Cloud DBA with AWS Migration
Sound knowledge and hands-on in MS SQL database administration.
Should have experience in migrating MSSQL server from on-premises to Cloud and Cloud to Cloud.
Strong experience in implementing high availability and fault-tolerance databases.
Strong hands-on experience in DB upgrade and handling compatibility issues due to DB upgrade.
Experience in DB migration from AWS RDS to Cloud SQL.
Install and configure new Microsoft SQL Server instances, including Always On availability groups and failover clustering.
Expertise into Capacity planning and handling very large scale databases.
Highly skilled at database design, and hands-on experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting SQL systems.
Good knowledge and experience on backup and restore technologies up to Point in Time recovery
Strong knowledge on performance tuning, Analysing and optimising SQL queries, hands on experience on analysis execution plan and profiler trace.
Expertise on database patching techniques and troubleshooting issues.
