Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Lead Engineer to drive the development of modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript, along with strong leadership capabilities to mentor and guide a team of front-end developers. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of front-end engineers, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and performance optimization.
Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and development workflows.
Architect and implement complex, responsive, and accessible user interfaces using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies and frameworks, and recommend adoption where appropriate.
Drive continuous improvement in performance, security, and maintainability.
Estimate, plan, and deliver projects on time while managing risks and dependencies.
Ensure proper documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Styled Components).
Experience with SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation) in Next.js.
Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or Recoil).
Knowledge of web performance optimization, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards.
Experience with unit testing and integration testing using tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and build tools (Webpack, Vite).
Understanding of API integration (REST, GraphQL).
Proven experience in leading teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
