Job Description

Responsibilities: • 2-9 years of experience overall. • Developed various Power BI Model. • Expertise in writing complex DAX functions in Power BI • Worked on all types of transformations that are commonly used in Power BI Query editor. • Ability to develop various charts, matrix, and complex designs. • Created Workspace and apps for business users to view the developed reports. • Good knowledge on report performance improvement. • Expert level SQL scripting skills. • Expert in creating SQL objects like SP, Views, Functions etc. • Expert in writing complex queries. • Good knowledge of Datawarehouse and dimension modeling. • Experience embedding reports into other applications, understanding of Rest APIs. • Experience in data storytelling and knowledge of how people make decisions with data. • Prior experience in Analysis Services Tabular Modelling, Power Pivot, Power BI Modelling. • Must have experience in other reporting tools like SSRS, Tableau, QlikView etc. • Automated Power Query refresh using power shell script and windows task scheduler. • Extensive know of Power BI Service components. • Knowledge of MS Fabric is plus. • Knowledge on report migration (Tableau to Power BI, QlikView to Power BI etc.) is plus. • Must have programming experience with Power BI, DAX, SQL and the M language. • Prior experience in Analysis Services Tabular Modelling, Power Pivot, Power BI Modelling • Develop and migrate to Azure leveraging Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Pools, Azure Data Factory/Synapse pipelines Azure Storage Explorer • Sound skills and hands on experience width Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Data Warehousing , Azure Blob, ADLS Gen2. • Develop and migrate to Azure leveraging Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Pools, Synapse, Azure Data Factory/Synapse pipelines • Carry out monitoring, tuning ,Query performance optimizations and database performance analysis • Proficient in creating Data Factory pipelines using ADF , copy activity, custom Azure development etc. • Expert in writing T-SQL Synapse SQL Queries • Expert in PL/SQL , Triggers Views , Indexes • Expert in DB Model Schema like Star Schema , Snowflake Schema etc. • Writing Poly base scripts for movement of Data from Data Lake to the staging area of the Azure Synapse (SQL Pools) • Excellent communication skills. • Perform the design and extension of data marts, meta data, and data models. Educational Requirements Bachelor of Engineering,BTech,BSc,BCA,MSc,MTech,MCA,ME Additional Responsibities: • Ability to work with clients to identify business challenges and contribute to client deliverables by refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data • Awareness of latest technologies and trends • Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate • Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions • One or two industry domain knowledge Technical and Professional Requirements: • Primary skills:Data Analytics->Power BI,Reporting ->Power BI,Technology->Cloud Integration->Azure Data Factory (ADF)
