Mandatory Skills:

Should have 8+ years of experience in Oracle SQL query tuning expertise.
Strong expertise in writing and understanding of Oracle SQL/PLSQL
Functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware products, Weblogic & Database products.
Interpreting explain plans and able to read AWRs and ASH for identifying SQL query bottle necks.
Ability to interpret explain plans for access path, predicate filtering and high knowledge of joins and orders in table access.
Advanced knowledge of SQLHC, parallel query knowledge. Should have rich experience in factored / scalar sub-queries and ability to utilise them in sql queries.
Strong decision making, convincing skills to bring down the complex discussions to closure supported by right arguments and facts.
Understanding of database initialization parameters, logs and traces.
Experience working on complex software development/integration projects
Experience in scripting tool like Unix shell, Python, Perl
Optional hands on troubleshooting Oracle OTBI & BIP report issues and performance related techniques on components like Data models/sets, LOV, parameters , bursting, FF, scheduling.

Good to Have Skills:

Understanding of AI and Machine learning will be an added advantage.
Oracle SQL performance diagnostic tools like SQLHC
Experience in using monitoring tools like OEM.
Building synthetic test cases.
