Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
This job plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing software robots (bots) to automate repetitive tasks within organizations. Their job scope usually encompasses the entire RPA development lifecycle.

Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues and stakeholders within the organization.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest RPA trends, technologies, and platform advancements through training and research.
Shift:
Ability to work in shift till 12 midnight IST. Work in Hybrid is provided.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Master of Computer Applications, or related field
EXPERIENCE:
3-6 years' overall experience
Preferred:
1-2 years in the Health Insurance Industry
SKILLS:
RPA Platform Expertise: Mastering one or two popular platforms like Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc., is crucial. Gaining deep understanding of their functionalities, features, and limitations is essential.
Basic Programming: While most RPA tools are visual and low-code, knowledge of languages like Python, C#, Visual Basic, and Java opens doors. These skills enable you to handle complex tasks, write custom scripts, and interact with external systems programmatically. Python is especially valuable for advanced scripting and data manipulation.
Web Development Fundamentals: If you deal with web-based automation, familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript becomes crucial. Understanding the Document Object Model (DOM) helps navigate dynamic elements and web application intricacies.
Debugging and Testing: You'll need strong skills in identifying, analyzing, and fixing issues within your automations. Familiarity with testing frameworks and best practices (like unit testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing) ensures robust and reliable bots. Additional Desirable Skills:
Database Knowledge: Knowing SQL helps you query databases, extract data, and integrate it with your automations, enhancing functionality.
API Testing Tools: Familiarity with tools like Postman allows you to easily interact with various back-end systems through APIs, improving the scope of your automations.
Beyond Technical Skills:
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze complex processes, identify inefficiencies, and design effective automation solutions is critical.
Communication and Collaboration: You'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders, explain technical concepts, and document your work effectively.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail ensures your automations function flawlessly and avoid errors.
