Job Description

Job Summary:

The ForgeRock IAM Architect will design, develop, and implement IAM solutions using ForgeRock technologies. They would be responsible to migrate from OKTA to ForgeRock platform. The role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that our IAM strategy aligns with business objectives, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Architecting and Designing:
Lead the design and architecture of IAM solutions using ForgeRock components, including OpenAM, OpenDJ, OpenIDM, and OpenIG.
Develop scalable and secure IAM frameworks that integrate with existing IT infrastructure and business processes.
Create technical design documents and architecture diagrams.
Implementation:
Implement ForgeRock solutions including configuration, integration, and customization to meet business needs.
Lead the installation, configuration, and tuning of ForgeRock components.
Develop and maintain access control policies, roles, and workflows.
Project Management:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Manage IAM projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Support and Maintenance:
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for IAM solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Ensure high availability and performance of IAM systems.
Stay updated with the latest ForgeRock releases and security patches.
Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams including security, application development, and IT operations to integrate IAM solutions.
Collaborate with business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Compliance and Security:
Ensure IAM solutions comply with regulatory standards and internal security policies.
Conduct security assessments and audits of IAM solutions.
Implement best practices for data protection and user privacy.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM, with at least 3 years focusing on ForgeRock technologies.
Proven experience in designing and implementing IAM solutions in large enterprise environments.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ForgeRock OpenAM, OpenDJ, OpenIDM, and OpenIG.
Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, and federation.
Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Java, Groovy, Python, or JavaScript.
Knowledge of directory services, LDAP, and databases.
Familiarity with web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, REST, SOAP) and security standards (OAuth, SAML, JWT).
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Project management skills are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
ForgeRock Certified OpenAM Specialist or similar certification.
Experience with cloud IAM solutions and integrations.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools related to IAM deployment and automation.
