Key job responsibilities
Some of the responsibilities include:

- Lead the design of new features and initiatives across the organization
- Investigate, prototype, and deliver new and innovative software applications
- Deliver high quality software through working in a dynamic, team-focused Agile/Scrum environment
- Champion best practices for software automation and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver exceptional-quality work on tight schedules

A day in the life
We are looking for a passionate, talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who can drive key engineering and business decisions that impact Amazon’s long-term vision, including innovation in the delivery and consumption of media and entertainment. In this development role, you will have an opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture and quality of products used every day, by people you know.

About the team
Our team is on an exciting growth journey, we are involved in new device launches and working out how to scale our operations efficiently.- 1+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field 4+ years of experience as a developer, QA Engineer, or as an SDET 4+ years of experience in Java or C development, or white box testing 4+ years of experience in C++, Python, Shell, or Java 4+ years of experience to programmatically test the product, measure test coverage, develop the best automation, drive testability and diagnostic ability into the product, while promoting best practices in quality areas
