Databricks Administrator
Role Summary
Databricks Administrator with 6 to 8 years of experience and total experience 10 to 12 years in IT flexible with work timing is mandatory Should possess positive attitude towards learning new technologies and should be open to take up any additional tasks responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Databricks Administrator to join our team As a Databricks Administrator you will be responsible for the day to day management and administration of our Databricks platform ensuring its optimal performance security and scalability You will work closely with data engineers data scientists and other stakeholders to provide technical support and guidance
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain Databricks platform including clusters workspaces and users
Monitor platform performance identify bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies
Implement and maintain security policies and access controls for the Databricks environment
Manage and configure Databricks integrations with other tools and services
Provision configure and manage Databricks clusters based on user needs and workloads
Monitor cluster resource utilization and optimize resource allocation
Troubleshoot and resolve cluster related issues
Manage user accounts roles and permissions within the Databricks platform
Provide user training and support on Databricks features and functionalities
Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures within the Databricks environment
Ensure data security integrity and compliance with relevant regulations
Collaborate with data engineers data scientists and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical support
Proactively identify and address potential issues and risks related to the Databricks platform
Stay up to date with the latest Databricks features best practices and industry trends

EDUCATION Required
Bachelors Degree

EXPERIENCE Required
10 to12 years of experience in IT
6 to 8 years of experience as Databricks Administrator
SKILLS
Skilled in cloud computing AWS Azure or GCP Databricks administration
Have good knowledge in scripting Python Scala or Terraform
Should have Linux experience and understanding of data warehousing lakes are also required
Good to Have
Databricks Certified Associate or Professional certification
Experience with data pipelines and data integration tools
Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations GDPR HIPAA
