We have an exciting opportunity to join our global tax team based in Gurgaon, India. This is a new opening for the tax professional to support the international markets, primarily US, for tax accounting, compliance & reporting at American Express.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of US International (5471) and State compliance returns.
Partner with US tax compliance team on the preparation of related US tax forms, FTC workings and quarterly forecast workings.
Preparing of numerous support schedules filed with tax return.
Demonstrate experience in process improvement and automation including but not limited to: innovating through new and existing technologies
Must have the ability to coordinate and work with cross-function teams
Leading various projects and initiatives for Compliance.

Education:

Graduate / Postgraduate/ MBA in Finance
CA preferred

Experience:

· 2-4 years of experience working on Tax

· Big 4 experience a plus

· Driven to learn and develop new skills

· Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and MS Access

· Able to excel and influence in a cross-functional team structure

· Able to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment

· Dynamic, willing to take on new initiatives.
