Job Description

Design, develop and execute QA tests on all code changes delivered by the IBM Cloud Fabric developers.
Design, develop and implement automated tests using Python Pytest framework and the IBM Cloud api’s to exercise their capabilities.
Monitor the execution of these automated tests as they are run on every release to ensure no regression has occurred.
Understand the open source and commercial enterprise applications used by IBM Cloud and develop tests to ensure they work seamlessly with our application.
Keep focus on end users and goals all through the development process
Work closely with product management, developers and stakeholders to ensure applications meet needs and expectations
Adhere to the highest levels of technical discipline and excellence to set a standard for the larger development organization

Job Description - Grade Specific

Required technical & professional expertise:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related field, or comparable extra work experience
Solid experience with Python and Pytest, or similar testing framework
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git

Desired Additional Qualifications and Skills ("Nice to Have")

Experience with Apache ZooKeeper
Solid experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging infrastructure
Experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
