About us

US Disbursements is responsible for processing payments for our business partners and customers, managing of special handling requirements associated with issuance and distribution of payments, and ledgering and reconciling general ledger accounts associated with the payable processes. Payments are made via check, ACH and wire.
Selected candidate will handle various processes within the US Disbursements team including bank statement balancing, void check processing, return mail processing, payment disbursements, check reissuing and other duties as needed. May perform other basic clerical duties associated with payment disbursements. Candidate will process journal entries to the general ledger using Oracle. Candidate will also be responsible for customer service support via email and telephone, including research and resolution of customer requests. Candidate will be expected to operate under strict service level agreements and control & compliance framework requirements.

Key Responsibilities -

This position will be primarily responsible for managing the department’s end to end check issuing process.
This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects and initiatives without direct authority.
Candidates will be able to analyze complex information and identify the most relevant details.
This position requires the aptitude to challenge the status quo, question current approaches, and seek continuous improvement.
Work with business and tech groups to understand, analyze impact (process/compliance risks) and remediation/fix of production issue raised as part of L2 support(BSM)
Align with stakeholder groups to understand key requirements and socialize the solution design with them.
Apply project management discipline, and quality techniques to ensure timely delivery of key milestones as per the plan.
Support change management for the end users, suppliers and all concerned business groups with positive experience.
Partnering with capabilities & technology and key business groups including process owners to ensure E2E testing of the solution design.
The incumbent shall be required, among other things, to maintain close contact with user community, compliance groups and provide leadership updates on key milestones, issues and risks, timely escalations, resolution of issues.
Candidates will interact with GSM and Non-GSM users/partners on a regular basis regarding the specifications of the L2 support/ projects, handling their queries, keeping them updated about the status of the current issue/ projects.
Candidates will plan jobs according to their due timelines and complexities and ensure overall co-ordination of the work between various teams and departments.
This role will support global markets, and work shifts according to the market/region time zone may be required.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or a Minimum 2-5+ year’s financial experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access a plus
Strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up
Strong organizational and time management skills
Skilled communicator who will build strong relationships, collaborate, and influence others without direct authority.
Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to be flexible in a global and rapidly changing environment.
