Job Description

The Data Strategy Lead serves as a key project leader in helping clients get value out of their investments in data, methods, and technologies. This role involves working directly with clients to gain understanding of the client’s business objectives, challenges, and resources to recommend and oversee creative solutions that deliver value using marketing & operations technology, analytics, and cloud and data infrastructure. Lead Consultants possess strong communication, project management, and thought leadership skills, and express a high degree of comfort with influencing and communicating to client leadership. Lead Consultants will use their expertise in Adobe Experience Cloud (Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Launch) to provide data, insights, and strategic recommendations to internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

Provide deep domain expertise in the client’s business and with a broad knowledge of digital analytics and marketing (consumer or telecom experience preferred).

Lead the building of Adobe Analytics dashboards to monitor performance of Adobe Target A/B tests and website enhancements.

Assess the current state of a client’s digital and customer technology platforms and integrations.

Identify and build automation solutions for data reporting.

Conduct interviews and sessions to gather business requirements, translate business requirements into technology use cases, and prioritize use cases into a strategic roadmap focused on deriving value from data.

Provide strategic guidance to clients by sharing quantifiable, impactful recommendations.

Uncover and elevate opportunities for clients to engage in data-driven solutioning.

Work with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Product Management, and Strategy teams to bring the roadmap to life.

Display pragmatism and take ownership of client, personal and team results.

Contribute to building client-ready tools, processes, best practices, and capabilities.

Mentor and develop more junior Adobe Analytics and Tableau consultants and Strategy & Insights team members.

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant work experience working directly in Adobe Analytics products to include Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Launch/Tag Manager. (Adobe Professional Certifications highly preferred).

5+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering, consulting, or analytics.

2+ years of relevant work experience in an agency environment, or an MBA or other relevant master’s degree.

Familiarity with lead generation and marketing automation technologies (CRMs such as Salesforce, Hubspot) and their capabilities as they relate to customer data and digital analytics.

Industry knowledge of website analytics and tagging structures.

Understanding of data governance, compliance, and privacy issues.

Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.

Strong cross-functional team management skills.

Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities at once.
