Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Selenium, along with strong programming knowledge in Java and Python. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through automation testing strategies in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Python.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand functional and non-functional requirements.

Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and regression testing.

Identify, document, and track defects and work closely with the development team for resolution.

Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness of automation processes.

Participate in code reviews, peer testing, and contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration.

Maintain and improve test environments and automation toolchains.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in QA automation with strong exposure to Selenium WebDriver.

Strong programming skills in Java and Python for writing automation scripts.

Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC), QA methodologies, and Agile/Scrum practices.

Experience in test management tools like JIRA, TestNG, Allure, or similar.

Solid knowledge of automation frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM), Data Driven Frameworks, or Hybrid frameworks.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.

Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar is a plus.

Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Good to Have:
Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber.

Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
