AWS Blu Age + Java Spring Boot/Kafka Lead Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Blu Age Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Java Spring Boot and Kafka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for modernizing legacy applications using AWS Blu Age while designing, developing, and deploying scalable, event-driven solutions on AWS.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you will work closely with cross-functional teams to accelerate application modernization, ensure high-quality deliverables, and contribute to best practices in cloud-native development.
Key Responsibilities
Modernize and migrate legacy applications using AWS Blu Age methodology and tooling.
Design, develop, and implement microservices with Java Spring Boot.
Build event-driven architectures leveraging Apache Kafka.
Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud services with focus on scalability, resiliency, and cost optimization.
Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance in cloud environments.
Document technical solutions, architecture decisions, and migration strategies.
Mandatory Requirements
AWS Blu Age certification (must-have).
Proven hands-on experience in Java Spring Boot and Kafka.
Solid understanding of AWS services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
9+ years of professional experience in Java development & AWS Blu Age application modernization projects.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
