Job Description

As Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a central role in the further technical development and maintenance of a critical, AWS-Cloud based Analytics platform within our Healthcare business. Working together with a wide variety of stakeholders including end-users, agile product owners, architects and software engineers, your expertise will drive the robustness, efficiency & continuous improvement of this critical platform contributing to the overall success of our R&D efforts in discovery and development of new drugs. As part of Data & AI Solution team, you will also contribute to the development of other D&A products as needed . Since the platform scope will evolve over time, you will contribute to the future technical roadmap as well as system architecture. Your expertise will also extend to the implementation and management of infrastructure as code (IaC), harnessing the capabilities of tools like AWS CloudFormation, Kubernetes and Airflow as well as standard AWS technology stack. Besides, you will play an integral role in refining data pipelines and enhancing analytics workflows, thereby increasing the reliability and efficiency of data processing. Strong adherence to security best practices will be expected, as you will oversee network configurations and IAM policies, ensuring the protection and integrity of our data and services. You will join a multicultural, multi-location team working in agile methodologies and having high autonomy in decision-making.The role requires office presence at our Bangalore location Current platform tech stack: Python AWS: VPC, IAM, STS, EKS, RDS, EC2, ECS, Route53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Secrets Manager, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, MWAA Kubernetes: Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps Web Development: NextJS, Storybook, Tailwind TypeScript PostgreSQL OpenSearch / ElasticSearch CDK & Cloud Formation Azure AD Git Airflow Microsoft Entra ID R, SAS Who You Are:University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field AWS experience in above mentioned services General proficiency using Python (used mainly for infrastructure as a code with AWS CDK and boto3 library) Experience with AWS-managed Kubernetes clusters. System design skills in cloud environment Familiarity with R and SAS is beneficial, particularly for data analysis and statistical modeling tasksExperience with TypeScript, React (familiarity with NextJS is a plus) Wiliness to work in a multinational environment and cross-functional teams distributed between US, Europe (mostly, Germany) and India Sense of accountability and ownership, fast learner Having experience in regulated environment is a plus (GxP)  Fluency in English & excellent communication skills If you are curious and ambitious to take up this challenge, apply today and be in the driver's seat implementing our Data and Analytics landscape.
