Job Description

SAP Solution Architect / SAP Application Lifecycle Expert Your focus will be the area of SAP Application Lifecycle Management. You will be member of the ERP Tech Refresh Office (ETO) team. ETO is responsible for assessing, prioritizing, planning, and tracking the execution of tech refresh activities of both SAP and non-SAP applications. This comprises application, database and operating system components. You will be using LEAN IX and Service NOW as tools. You coordinate the creation and maintenance of system landscape overviews, interface diagrams and be responsible for providing tech refresh heatmaps. Responsibilities:You will support application owners in prioritization and planning of tech refresh activities. This includes the determination of best-fit remediation scenarios in close collaboration with Service Delivery Managers and application owners. You will create decision slides and present the current situation and remediation plan to management. Strong presentation skills are essential.You will be responsible for tracking the execution of all tech refresh activities. Periodic status meetings with stakeholders will be part of your activities. This includes escalation management in case of deviations from agreed remediation plan timeline.You will be accountable for the accuracy of data in SNOW CMDB. Keep data up to date together with Service Delivery Managers. This includes the transfer from SNOW CMDB to LEAN IX. Monitor LEAN IX data for completeness. You will be working on the design, identification of improvement areas and optimization of the ETO team processes. Skills in data modelling, API programming and interface implementation are a plus. Work environment:Working in an international, virtual team in close collaboration being able to function as a cross functional backup for other members of the ETO team. Working very closely with service owners and other cross functional teams Bachelor’s or master’s degree and minimum 5 years comparable job experience.Experience in SAP upgrade project planning and executionKnowledge in SAP roadmapKnowledge in operating system and database version upgrades Good knowledge of service support processes and SLASkills:Excellent Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel skillsExtended Knowledge or experience in IT infrastructure Strong SAP technical backgroundAPI programming skills, JSON (Will be considered a plus)Data modelling/flows will be a plusExcellent, fluent communication in English speaking and writing.Strong analytical and conceptional skillsOrganizational and presentation talent as well as intercultural competenceCommunicative and Team PlayerSelf-driven and flexible Tools:SAP ERPLEAN IX (Will be considered a plus)Microsoft OfficeService NOW
