Job Description

Title: Analyst – Product ComplianceLocation: Bangalore – Electronic City SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITYThe position is responsible for-1. Product Screening2. Tariff classification and Other Product Compliance Processes3. Data collection for product screening PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:The Analyst Product Compliance will support on routine screening of Trade Compliance check and assigning tariff for Company’s portfolio products. Completing different Product Compliance processes and support for go to market initiatives. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:• Interact with internal Trade Compliance staff for all product compliance related inquiries• Tariff classification and product screening• Regulatory Data collection (product, Hazcom & TC, other information)• Maintenance and reporting of Product compliance metrics• Process Improvement to ensure implementation of corrective actions for non-compliant entries or compliance processes. BASIC QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Post-Graduation degree in Chemistry. Experience:Candidate should possess 0.5 years (6 months+) experience in Trade compliance processes. Technical Skills / Competencies:1. International Trade Knowledge - Basic proficiency expected• Knowledge on International Trade and Trade terminology.• Should be able to apply subject knowledge to all our processes.• Able to guide others on subject matters. 2. Global Chemical/Biological Regulatory Knowledge -Limited proficiency expected• Global Regulatory Knowledge Import Regulation (ODS/DPC/Abp/ADP/HTS-29) (Narcotics/CWC/Explosives/BWC/GMO).• Tariff classification-Chemical/labware/techware• Should be able to work with different written documents.• Abreast with the different regulations• Able to guide others on regulatory aspects 3. Microsoft Office Knowledge - Basic proficiency expected• Basic computer operating knowledge.• Familiar with internet and email.• Advance Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excess and Power Point.• Familiar with macro.• Advance knowledge of MS Access 4. SAP- Limited proficiency expectedBasic knowledge of T-codes (Navigation) used for Trade Compliance Behavioral Competencies:Limited proficiency in-1. Interpersonal skills2. Problem solving3.
