Job Description

Title: AnalystLocation: Bangalore – Electronic City JOB DESCRIPTION: Transactional compliance & Customs SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:• Sanctioned Party List Screening• New Customer Screening• Country of Origin Determination• Free Trade Agreements• Other Duty Saving Programs. PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONSupport the Trade compliance functions in the EMEA/US/APAC region. This may include either regionalor country aspects of the business. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:• Process SPL Screening Orders for different countries• Identify suspicious business partners and escalate to the stakeholders• Interact with internal Trade Compliance staff for all Trade Compliance related inquiries• Country of Origin determination• Maintenance of database containing eligibility status by product• New Customer Screening Approvals or rejections• Communication with Customer Relations and Customer Master Data teams regarding NewCustomer Screening queries.• FTA eligibility determination• FTA document/certificate maintenance and record keeping• Maintenance of different process trackers.• Process Improvement to ensure implementation of corrective actions for non-compliant entriesor compliance processes. BASIC QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business administration, business management or related field, orequivalent business experience required. Experience:Candidate should possess 0-2 years practical experience in Trade compliance.Technical Skills / Competencies:1. International Trade Knowledge - Advanced proficiency expected• Knowledge on International Trade and Trade terminology.• Should be able to apply subject knowledge to all our processes.• Able to guide others on subject matters. 2. Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening - Advanced proficiency expected• Knowledge of different Sanctioned Party Lists (US, Europe etc.)• Should be able to work with different written documents.• Abreast with the different regulations particularly• Able to guide others on regulatory aspects 3. Microsoft Office Knowledge - Proficient• Basic computer operating knowledge.• Familiar with internet and email.• Advance Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excess and Power Point.• Knowledge of MS Access. 4. SAP- Advanced proficiency expected• Basic knowledge of T-codes (Navigation) used for Trade Compliance.• Basic Knowledge of SAP GTS Sanctioned Party List Screening Behavioral Competencies:Limited proficiency in-1.
