Senior Internal Communication Expert - IT
Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Internal Communication Expert to lead, design, and implement innovative communication strategies that inspire, engage, and inform employees across the Data, Digital and IT (DDIT) organization. This senior-level role is pivotal in aligning communication efforts with the organization’s vision, fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and trust. Key Skills & Competencies:Communication Excellence:Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft messages tailored to varied audiences and platforms.Proficiency in storytelling, editing, and creating content that drives engagement.Analytical Insight:Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, generate insights, and create compelling executive summaries that inform strategy.Expertise in measuring communication effectiveness and applying data-driven improvements.Relationship Building:Proven ability to establish trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.Project Management:Advanced organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience planning and executing high-impact virtual and in-person events.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field (Master’s preferred).7+ years of progressive experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.Expertise in managing hybrid and digital communication environments.Demonstrated ability to design and implement communication strategies at scale.Proficiency in modern communication tools and platforms.
