Job Description

SAP TM (Transportation Management) Analyst (Preferably - SAP Techno Functional)Purpose:SAP TM Functional Analyst has overall responsibility of designing and configuring the SAP TM Systems to run Merck's distribution business processes. This position will have the ability to clearly understand the business requirements and our SAP ecosystem. A strong understanding of SAP core technologies and ability to work with peers in this area is a must for this position.Job Functions:Design, build and Develop SAP TM and ERP ecosystem to support all functions of business in supply chain logisticsExperience in business systems analysis experience designing, implementing, and supporting transportation processesStrong exposure to integration technologies including IDOC, ALE, RFC, PI, XPS , XML and Web-ServicesDemonstrate capability to utilize and implement SAP TM best practices in the organisationProven ability to understand the business processes and the core application environmentsAbility to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.Understand business needs/requirements and implement solutions to meet business requirementsExcellent integration knowledge and experience with other SAP modules like SD, EWM, etc.Provide test plans, test cases and able to perform functional testingExperience with XML Monitoring (SXMB_MONI), RFC Queue Management (base level understanding)Mandatory skill should be an ability to understand BOPF framework and debug independentlyCore Interface CIFTransportation Master Data, End-to-end Order management, Freight order management, Freight procurement and capacity planningOptimization of ERP Logistics integration, Interactive planning, subcontracting and tenderingAgreement management and settlements [invoicing]Tariff and rate calculation, Charge calculation and settlements and internal charging Skills and ExperienceMust have at least 3 years SAP TM experienceMust have of SAP TM implementation experience and providing solutions in a regional or central distribution systemMust be computer engineering graduate or equivalentHand-on working experience in SAP ABAP (Technical) is preferableGood Problem Solving and Communication skills
