Job Description

Amazon's Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) team works to ensure that buyers receive authentic products. We design and implement policies, tools and technology innovations to protect the buying experience on Amazon while minimizing friction for sellers.

For our regional TSE IN team in Bangalore we are looking for a Sr Program Manager with a passion to solve real world problems. You will work closely with corporate counsel, legal, business teams, selling partner experience and support teams, operational excellence, product, BI and data science/engineering teams to deliver high-impact end to end compliance solutions.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of policies, processes and tools to address issues impacting the customer experience in collaboration with teams across Amazon. This is an opportunity that requires a critical thinker with organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. At the core of the position is passion for protecting Amazon’s reputation and the customer experience and trust.

Key job responsibilities
• Participate and conduct product safety compliance and risk analysis for the identified cases.
• Review regulatory requirements and incorporate them into the design & development of predictive, proactive and reactive safety control methodologies for high risk products.
• Work directly with business partners, compliance operations, and associated stakeholders to implement safety control processes and eliminate safety risks on the products.
• Clarify and drive short-term and long-term project priorities and commitments, as well as establish and maintain clear chains of project management and accountability.
• Continuously identify and communicate improvement opportunities in safety risk analysis.
• Leverage technology to manage compliance processes.
Develop key metrics and performance indicators to measure overall program performance and provide foundation for continuous improvement.

About the team
TSE (Trustworthy Shopping Experience) is the regulation and compliance organization of Amazon where we have program teams dedicated to support various regulatory compliance areas medical device and unsafe products.

- 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience handling confidential information
