Job Description

Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes for Cloud Controllership, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of business and expenses to key stakeholders.
Expand and enhance business reporting capabilities to seamlessly integrate and accommodate incremental parts of Google Cloud as the business evolves.
Develop insightful financial dashboards and reports that empower business leaders to make data-driven decisions.
Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Experience with SAP, Reporting and Business Recognition Systems.
Experience leveraging tools such as SQL/ Power BI/ Alteryx/Tableau to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
Experience in building financial dashboards and visualizing data.
Knowledge of US GAAP principles and their application in financial reporting.
Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and cross-functional teams while handling various workloads, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, attention to detail, and adapting to changing responsibilities and priorities in an evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
