Job Description

Lead in a strategic area for growth of the YouTube Ads business.
Design solutions across the entire ads stack including infrastructure, quality, experimentation, and provide technical guidance for the team.
Create and extend existing products for SMB advertisers to support the growth of YouTube Ads, and work with the broader organization to establish team direction and the short-term and long-term project roadmaps.
Drive cross-functional and cross-geo collaboration with teams in YouTube and Ads spanning Product, UX and Engineering, and develop positive relationships with key stakeholders.
Manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring that work is completed on time.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software product.
3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in a changing organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects
