Title: Senior Member of Technical Staff

The Oracle Cerner Platform team within OHAI is currently searching for skilled Software Engineers to join our dynamic team. The role primarily focuses on automation and the design, development, and implementation of reports and dashboards to meet business requirements and improve data visualization capabilities. As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in automation, the ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting, developing, and maintaining automation processes that streamline and enhance our operations, addressing sophisticated problems in the Modernization efforts. Your expertise in scripting, coding, and cloud technologies will be instrumental in optimizing our processes for scalability and efficiency. You also use technologies such as Ruby, Terraform, and Kubernetes to develop reliable and easy-to-use deployment systems.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of total experience with Bachelor’s degree/masters degree (Information Technology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Computer Software/Electronics/Operational Research/Computer System Engineering).
Experienced Full Stack developer with Java
Proficient in Designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems
Experience in SQL/PLSQL, SQL Tuning
Experience in building tools and automation using Shell or Python
Experience on performance debugging and optimization
Deep understanding of Software architecture patterns, Design Patterns, Data Structures, Distributed Systems, Cloud Native development
Strong understanding of Database Architecture and Unix/Linux systems.
Understanding of various Cloud offering and Cloud concepts
Experience on Oracle OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with several of the following technologies: Puppet, Chef, Helm, Terraform, Infrastructure-as-a-Service, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Kafka, Flink
Experience in Designing, developing, and implementing reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
Great teammate with outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Experience using ticket tracking systems such as JIRA.
Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
Familiarity with DevOps practices
