Amazon is shaping the future of digital video entertainment in India. Amazon miniTV, our free ad-supported (AVOD) services is one of the fastest growing entertainment destinations in India. We seek a senior Commercials Program Manager for Amazon miniTV content org. Over the next few months, we plan to launch a large number of exclusive shows and new content.

Over the past decade Amazon has developed a number of market-leading, innovative and fast-growing digital and mobile businesses, including: Prime Video, Amazon Music, Echo, Alexa and Kindle. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded candidate who wants to work in a start-up like environment and is passionate about content.

We are looking for a bright, analytical and driven, candidate to join our content team. You will be responsible for deal negotiation, managing our contractual rights, identify opportunities for content monetization / syndication and manage partner relationships.

From a day to day perspective, you will:
• Work towards creating a program that includes benchmarks for ATL discussions, co-ordinate with legal team to create templates for direct talent deals, Original Music licensing as well as distribution deals.
• The candidate will manage all program management aspects of evaluating and negotiating development, as well as production budgets for miniTV original scripted shows.
• The candidate will program manage the scripted pipeline development through the internal process of approvals etc.
• The candidate will need to work and align multiple internal stakeholders – business finance, legal, business team on the scripted pipeline and be in-charge of driving the approvals internally.
• The candidate will also directly engage with Content partners production heads to negotiate on budgets.
• The candidate should have the ability to innovate and find newer ways to bring in production and commercial efficiencies in Amazon miniTV’s scripted content process, build metrics to evaluate progress, and continuously strengthen the overall program charter.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Mumbai, MH, IND- 8+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
