Job Description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President to work as part of the wider business analysis project team with a focus on back & middle office business change, risk and regulatory initiatives.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo.

This is a Vice President position within Product Support & Services ISG, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes..

What you’ll do in the role:

·         Investigate and resolve complex queries through various means, including daily interaction with key stakeholders, including trading desks, sales desks and middle office groups to ensure prompt resolution.

·         Provide excellent leadership and guidance for a team of analysts, associates and directors

·         Ensure team acts as a process owner and escalation point for issues and discrepancies with external counterparties, sales, and the trading desk, to resolve cash fail receivables and trial balances

·         Manage key relationships with internal/external clients and Firm stakeholders and influence and negotiate with clients and/or other departments on key deliverables and timelines.

·         Drive business analysis for front to back processes and systems, including the solution design, testing and implementation.

·         Ensure high focus for regulatory reporting relating to deal structuring and settlement. The candidate will need to manage multiple reporting cut-offs as well as communicate submissions

         Partner with Technology to translate detailed business requirements / impacts assessments / functional specifications into future state system specifications.

What you’ll bring to the role:

·         5-10 years of settlements experience

·         5-10 years of experience leading a team

·         Considerable years of experience or equivalent within Operations

·         Background in Commodities (encouraged but not essential)

·         Bachelor’s Degree - Analytical, financial, or mathematically related preferred (or equivalent)

·         Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills (Database and coding skills a plus)

·         Proactive and results oriented mind-set

·         Strong communication skills: ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity in written and verbal form

·         Robust analytical and organizational skills

·         Proven ability to collaborate with business partners and work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
