Job Description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Analyst in Security Settlements team.

In the Security Settlements , we provide senior management an objective and independent assessment of the Firm’s internal control environment for risk management and governance. The Security Settlements team is responsible for ensuring the firms Fixed Income and Equity security transactions successfully settle on contractual settlement date and in accordance with trade details as booked in the firm's system. Further, the team is responsible for ensuring the books and records for the firm agree with the external banks and depository's records.

What you’ll do in the role: -

- Settlements specialist and managing the settlement process for global markets. Leads team interactions and set the standard.
- Manage the performance and relation with the outsourced vendor in India independently manages processes and/or projects.
- Partner closely with Business Units in enhancing our client service level and support for new business development. Identifies and develops value added solutions that support clients' needs.
- Effectively manage the divisions control environment by balancing risk with commercial opportunities. Where applicable, develops and provides management oversight and review over required regulatory reporting.
- Drive the review of the control and processes in order to reduce operational and client risk.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and strive for delivery of commercial initiatives.
- Understands the impact of initiatives, risks on the operational budget.
- Work with global counterparts in running the strategic agenda for the Security Settlements.

What you’ll bring to the role:

1-3 years experience in a Security settlements r-le with 1 year in any of the below functiions.
- Asia security settlements f-r Equity & Fixed income
- Security settlements f-r equity and fixed income supporting n-n Asia markets.
- Middle office f-r equity and fixed income
- Trade processing f-r equity and fixed income products
- Client service supporting equity and fixed income products
- Understand trade life-cycle and the front- back functions
- Proficient in MS-Excel and MS-powerpoint.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountiblity for tasks
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented and ability t- adhere t- tight deadlines.
- Confident, Self-motivated and has a drive f-r results
- Ability t- contribute in a high intensity and rapidly changing envionnment.
- Strong inter personnel l skills.
- Operate with minimal supervision
- Desire to work in an environment strong in teamwork commitment and excellence.
