ISG Global Markets Group is the offshoring arm of Morgan Stanley’s Sales & Trading businesses in India. It covers functions across IED ranging from those associated with sales, trading, analytics, strats to risk management.

Primary Responsibilities

The role is based in Mumbai and requires working with the Global Client Business Analytics Team. The role will require enhancing and maintaining the client resource consumption data distribution process and ensuring the accuracy of the information being submitted. The job will also involve in producing analytical initiatives for Global IED Sales and stakeholders and interact with Sales, Research, Corporate Access and CBA global teams on day to day basis.

The role involves working on –

· Publishing Morgan Stanley Global Resource Consumption data on various 3rd party vendors engaged by Morgan Stanley or its clients.
· Coordinating with cross functional teams post submission of the data, reviewing, identifying and resolving errors within strict deadlines. Ensuring accuracy of the data on various vendor portals and internal source systems.
· Collaborating with internal Sales, Research and IT to evaluate external client needs and develop and implement reporting and operational strategies.
· Proficient in process analysis, identifying gaps, risk and data integrity issues and implementing robust controls to mitigate client and reputation risk and enhance data security.
· Interpret and reconcile large and complex datasets to ensure completeness, accuracy check and resolving breaks.
· Responsible for delivering customized bespoke requests, trend analysis dashboards to clients, senior management, sales and research personnel using data analytics tools.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in existing process and propose solutions to improve data capture and data integrity enhancements by engaging with technology, stakeholders and other global partners.
· Responsible for guiding IT on automation requirements and additionally conducting UAT for various technological & process upgrades on internal systems.
· Creating and maintaining Business Requirement Documents as per the updates in function requirements and processes.
· Prepare regular and Adhoc revenue/resource analysis for senior distribution management highlighting revenue performance, momentum, identify over- or under-serviced clients. Producing client interactions reports to identify resource consumption.
· Client and Business Review materials: which involve analyzing revenues, votes, interactions and preparing Management packs based on the data.
· Engage in effective & interactive dialogue with stakeholders, sales & key project members.

Skills required (essential)

Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
Fast-learning, highly motivated person, with strong attention to detail and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure.
Proficiency in MS Excel (Vlookups, Pivot tables, Formulas) & MS Word.
Proficiency in using data analytical tools like Boxi, Qlikview & Power BI or similar is a plus.
Highly analytical with good problem-solving skills and must have the ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly.
Ability to cross reference a number of sources/applications to ensure accuracy of data.
Strong leadership and negotiating skills.
Knowledge of Equities sales and trading and business analysis, data management & handling experience is a plus.
Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and collaboration skills.
Team player with a positive attitude and a focus on business issues.
8+ years of experience in Financial Services industry.
