Job Description

As a Senior Applications Engineer in Release Engineering, your hands-on responsibilities include codeline management, CICD expertise, and operations services for Oracle ERP Fusion Applications. You will create and implement AI systems capable of intelligently retrieving information, reasoning about complicated business scenarios, and automating sophisticated procedures in enterprise environments.

You'll work with cross-functional teams to create scalable, dependable, and production-ready solutions. Oracle is significantly investing in Generative AI, therefore having a strong understanding and expertise in leveraging the capabilities of Large Language Models would be plus. In this role, you will design, develop, and build scalable solutions that use the most recent breakthroughs in software development and GenAI to solve challenging business challenges intelligently. Your skills will be critical in developing end-to-end software solution flows that include conversational AI solutions, agentic flows that employ LLM and other cutting-edge machine learning approaches to shape and improve user experiences. You will also collaborate with the Engineering and Operations teams to use engineering breakthroughs to simplify business needs and create scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate is highly technical, competent in Python and database design, has expertise creating scalable solutions, and can lead across the complete stack. They also have good product sense and business understanding to relate technological decisions to the context of each effort.

The Release Engineering team strives to increase the velocity of innovation to our cloud services and ensure overall developer productivity. To be successful in this role:

You have experience in development, testing and systems automation.
You have experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles in the domain of cloud-based web applications.
You are a firm believer in pipeline-as-code.
You are passionate about end-to-end automation of all aspects of the delivery pipeline.

The work is non-routine, dealing with complex issues that require advanced technical and business skills in specialization. Collaboration within a distributed team underscores the importance of cultural sensitivity to prevent conflicts. Your responsibilities also include interpreting management requirements, articulating them to the team in a simple format, creating project plans, and ensuring accurate completion
