How will you make an impact in this role?

Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.

The JavaScript Quality Engineer is a first-class citizen of our team and if you can deliver automated tests for an enterprise website, we have a position for you. Automation is challenging. We value the specialist knowledge and character required to envision, refine, and automate the testing of sophisticated web pages and we want individuals capable of delivering those advantages.

You will be part of the Demand Generation & Shopping Experience group, which focuses on and strives to provide best in class user experiences to our customers when they shop for American Express products. Your work will be at the frontline of American Express’ commitment to excellence to our customers, and thus highly visible, impactful, and rewarding. 

Job Responsibilities:

Should be proficient with defining technical architecture/ solution based on problem in hand
Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to standards and processes.
Fine tune the existing technology with new ideas and optimization opportunities.
Should be able to define solution scoping and effort sizing within a cross-functional team
Serving as a core member of an Engineering team help and guide the team in end-to-end delivery
Effectively interpreting technical and business objectives and challenges and articulating sound solutions.
Provide technical expertise in driving projects from inception to closure
Perform code reviews, design reviews and help the team to produce high quality systems.
Research: stay informed on technology trends.

Join us if you have:

At least 5 years of experience in Web Development
Experience with Continuous Integration and Automated test execution
Knowledge of application architecture a plus
Experience with testing internationalization and localized web applications and content
Enthusiasm for everything JavaScript
Advance knowledge of accessibility and web performance, and experience in Performance testing using JMeter or any other similar tools
3+ years of experience in Selenium / WebDriver.io based browser testing in JS
2-year track record of JS test automation
Good to have experience with SauceLabs and browserstack
Experience with Agile, Agile at scale (SAFe)
Cross browser testing & functionality understanding.
