About the Role
An opportunity to work on Airtel Android devices and work with other core Andorid products. Get a lot of exposure on by working with video streaming and content protection. Work in a fast paced start up and clear objective on what to be working on.
Key Responsibilities
- Familiarity with AOSP/Android source code & Build procedure
- Experience on Android & OS firmware based development for commercial consumer devices
- You will be responsible for designing ,implementation & maintenance of various embedded components & applications for mobile platforms
- Cares about design & very strong command of efficient layouts,including optimization for various mobile environments
- Knowledgeable about catching mechanisms & tools like memory chache
- Knowledge of media playback & DRM techniques is a plus
- Experience with Android Leanback framework
Experience & Skills
You must demonstrate
- Passionate about software development & Strong problem solving skills
- Strong command over Kotlin/Java,C/C++
- Strong knowledge of Android build system
- Strong object-oriented design skills including design patterns, data structures, test driven development
- Proven ability to architect highly scalable distributed software systems
- Proficient at creating and tracking complex development schedules, managing issues and tracking bugs using tools like Jira
- Superior verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is needed
- Experience with creating systems apps & launchers is a plus
Educational Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent academic stance, preferably from Top Tier engineering schools
Work Experience
- 2-6 years of experience in software development
