Responsibilities

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and relationships for actionable insights
Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to solve complex business problems
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and design experiments
Build predictive models and conduct scenario analysis to support forecasting and decision-making processes
Monitor and evaluate model performance, making recommendations for improvements as needed
Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science and analytics
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
Proven experience working as a Data Scientist in the Financial Services industry
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data and generate insights
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms
Familiarity with databases and data querying languages such as SQL
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
