Digital acquisition is one of Amex’s top priorities. Core to delivering on this priority are card and banking application and onboarding experiences that enable our customers to apply for our products with the least amount of effort, wherever and however they choose to apply. We are looking for a passionate, talented, and adaptable strategic thought leader to craft and deliver program initiatives across acquisition experiences that enable our customers to apply for American Express’ products with the least amount of effort, wherever and however they choose to apply. This role will engage and collaborate with teams across the Enterprise to identify opportunities for centralizing processes, build, scale and maintain capabilities and tools to reduce journey friction, support journey teams’ goals, improve efficiency and reduce time to market. The leader will be responsible for establishing an enterprise platform vision, enhance the product roadmaps, and ensuring teams & products evolved in-line with the platform strategy.

As Manager, Digital Product Management - Intl Orchestration & Anti-Gaming, you will:

 

  • ·     Help define and support execution of International offers ecosystem roadmap, priorities, and growth opportunities.
  • ·       Build and manage orchestration engine to enable consistent, omni-channel personalized experiences.
  • ·        Lead with an external perspective, do market research, analyze vendor solutions to enhance personalization and customization of user’s experience.
  • ·        Support & lead the launch of new product feature sets & capabilities, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders (teams across the Enterprise, engineering, UX design, analytics and more)
  • ·        Create & socialize product roadmaps, evaluate and prioritize features.
  • ·        Manage backlog of integrations across various markets and communicate the progress to stakeholders.
  • ·        Translate technical specifications into business instructions & guidelines for marketing & other product partners to ensure a very high standard of documentation.
  • ·        Effective project management of features to ensure timely launches with the highest degree of quality.
  • ·        Lead the day-to-day agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning, refinement, retrospectives) with the engineering & product partners to effectively deliver on the product roadmap.

Qualifications

  • ·        Ability to manage and drive complex and high-profile projects end-to-end and provide regular communications to a diverse set of stakeholders and senior leaders
  • ·        Experience with design thinking, consultancy and effective storytelling to enable collaboration with partners
  • ·        Extensive Product Management experience in an Agile environment (4+ years) and with Data products and platforms.
  • ·        Proven ability to craft, drive, and maintain a product vision, strategy, and prioritized backlog.
  • ·        Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Able to simplify complex ideas, navigate cross-functional teams and build relationships, influence decisions, and deliver on shared objectives.
  • ·        Ability to influence stakeholders at and above band level based on aligned principles, data driven analysis, and appropriate escalation
  • ·        Ability to coach and motivate fellow colleagues and foster a diverse and inclusive team culture, encouraging input from all team members.
  • ·        Ability to self-start, carve opportunities out of ambiguity, and operate with a high degree of independence.
  • ·        Experience running cross-team Discovery for new products and product enhancements.
  • ·        Experience working in a regulated environment with an understanding of compliance, control, data governance and integrity processes is a plus.
  • ·        A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen.
  • ·        Minimum: Bachelors degree.  Masters degree or MBA is a plus
